Non-regulated activity only
Proventus Capital is an advisor and provider of non-regulated financial products only. Where a requirement involves regulated activity, our role is limited to an introduction to an appropriately authorised firm or appointed representative.
Proventus Capital is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). All regulated business activities are introduced to appropriately Directly Authorised (DA) or Appointed Representative (AR) approved firms. Proventus Capital may receive an introduction fee for these referrals.
Regulated mortgage introductions
Proventus Capital does not provide regulated mortgage advice, recommend regulated mortgage products or process regulated mortgage applications. These activities are undertaken by the receiving firm where it has the appropriate permissions.
An Appointed Representative acts under the responsibility of an authorised principal, within the scope of its appointment. “DA or AR approved firms” in our disclaimer refers to the appropriate permission or appointment for the relevant activity; it does not mean that an AR is independently authorised by the FCA.
Before proceeding, check the receiving firm and the relevant permissions on the FCA Financial Services Register. Confirm the firm’s contact details through the register.
Commercial & bridging finance
Commercial mortgages and bridging finance are not universally regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Whether a particular transaction is regulated depends on its circumstances, including the borrower, property use and product. A product label alone does not establish its regulatory status.
Referral fees
Proventus Capital may receive an introduction fee for referrals. Ask us for details of any fee or benefit connected with your introduction before you proceed. The receiving firm’s charges, terms and responsibilities are separate from ours.
